PAC (polyaluminum chloride) is a common inorganic polymer flocculant widely used in industries such as water treatment, papermaking, printing and dyeing.

Advantages:

  1. Good flocculation effect and high water purification efficiency: PAC has strong charge neutralization ability, can quickly coagulate suspended solids, form larger flocs, improve settling speed, and has better water purification effect than traditional aluminum or iron salt flocculants.
  2. Wide adaptability to water quality: Suitable for various water sources, including drinking water, industrial water, sewage treatment, river treatment, etc., it has good treatment effects on high turbidity water and low temperature and low turbidity water.
  3. Low dosage and cost: PAC has strong flocculation ability, and compared with traditional aluminum sulfate or other flocculants, the dosage is reduced by 20% -50%, reducing the cost of chemicals and sludge treatment.
  4. Wide pH range: PAC can function within a wide pH range (4-10), with minimal impact on water pH and reducing the use of alkaline regulators.
  5. Reduce effluent color and turbidity: PAC can not only remove suspended solids in water, but also effectively remove pollutants such as organic matter, heavy metal ions, phosphorus, etc., significantly reducing the color and turbidity of water.
  6. Low residual aluminum content, safer: Compared with traditional aluminum salt flocculants, PAC has lower residual aluminum content in hydrolysis, which is more friendly to human health and the environment, especially suitable for drinking water treatment.
  7. Stable storage and convenient use: PAC is easily soluble in water and not easily affected by temperature. It is stable in storage and can be directly dissolved and added during use, making it easy to operate.
